Step 2: Speak with Human SOFie
Book a live Zoom call with our trained SOFie representative — a human acting in her place for now. The Zoom is recorded by Grain.com and becomes an important part of your file.
This isn’t an interrogation. It’s a professional, respectful conversation about where your funds have come from.
We’ll ask just what’s necessary to ensure our compliance team can confidently verify the origin of your funds.
Tell us what your Cake’s made of?
Before we jump on a Zoom call with SOFie (or one of her friendly human stand-ins), we need a basic picture of where your money came from.
Think of your total wealth like a cake. You don’t need to give us every crumb — just your main slices.
That might include:
🏠 A house sale
🪙 Old crypto gains
🧾 A company exit
💼 A bonus or dividend
💷 An inheritance or gift
Simply tell us up to five of these top “portions” — but if you’ve only got one or two, that’s fine too. If there’s more than five, we’ll cover it in the Zoom.
📝 How to Fill in Each Portion
Each “Portion” section asks for:
- The amount (e.g. “£400,000”)
- What % it is of your total wealth
- A short explanation (e.g. “Sale of my flat in London, July 2023”)
- Any supporting documents you already have (optional for now — e.g. bank statements, sale agreements, contracts)
